FREEDOM BEYOND RECOVERY

Boh Guerra

"I'm very excited for us to get this group together.
Abstinence and recovery from drugs and alcohol has made a huge impact on the relative functioning of the Boh-unit, and in many ways, was the catalyst for getting involved in nonduality and The Living Method.

I was involved in Alcoholics Anonymous and Recovery Dharma for several years, helped people through The Steps, and found the experience to be a literal lifesaver." Boh Harik

What is Freedom Beyond Recovery?

Embark on a transformative journey towards genuine recovery with our new program, Freedom Beyond Recovery!

Diverging from conventional models, our approach delves into the fundamental questions often overlooked in traditional recovery circles.
In Freedom Beyond Recovery, we invite you to challenge the contradictions inherent in conventional addiction recovery.

If it's true that, "self, manifested in various ways, was what had defeated us" (Alcoholics Anonymous, page 64), then why is the solution based in maintaining misidentification as the problem? That sounds like a perpetuation of the Bondage of Self!

Our program offers true liberation - for Awakeness, as Awakeness. Our hope is that this group will provide participants with a foundation for a more direct and effective way to live a life of recovery.

The body is not what we are, but it's not other than what we are either. The most compassionate thing we can do, for and as "the one thing going on", is to make sure these units continue to be cleared of the conditioning that drove the addiction pattern to begin with. In the spirit of Fred Davis’s teachings, we invite participants to approach life's challenges from the perspective of What We Are, rather than from misidentification of What We're Not.

This shift in perspective significantly influences the freedom experienced in this miracle we call everyday living. Join us on this path to recovery, where we eagerly anticipate sharing this empowering experience with all of you.

"Why does addiction develop in the first place?"

How do I stop relying on "external" resources to soothe the conditioned sense of lack
(the God-Sized Hole)?"

Beyond Recovery: Nonduality and the Twelve Steps is a "bridge book" that introduces Nonduality to people in recovery, and recovery to people who are already involved in nondual spirituality.

Very often in recovery, participants will hit a "plateau" in whatever system they're using to clean up and clear up.

They feel like they've outgrown the rigid dogma sometimes found in some recovery programs, but they still have a pull toward the relative safety of their group or tradition.Beyond Recovery: Nonduality and the Twelve Steps offers a way to satisfy both calls.

Beyond Recovery is being used as a basic text for discussion groups in the US and Australia.

That trend is sure to spread.
